Why do you need dispusolve?
- Why should we use Dispusolve instead of dealing with complaints ourselves?
If you can deal with the complaint on the spot or within a day or so, it makes sense to do so and, provided the complainant is satisfied, we would always advocate such a response.
However, if you are unable to do so, you are likely to find the complaint makes a significant impact on your resources, which you will have to divert from running your business. You also risk drawing yourself into confrontation with the complainant.
Dispusolve investigators all have considerable experience of determining whether a complaint has sufficient merit to warrant compensation. We are also experienced in determining an appropriate compensation amount where necessary. - Why are Dispusolve able to investigate complaints against us?
Most consumer complaints, and almost all those that cannot be dealt with on the spot, arise because the benefits received by the customer are perceived as being less than was promised at the point of sale, either in terms of measurable value or intangible factors such as service quality. Our team members have been investigating whether complaints of this nature should be upheld for many years and have already demonstrated that they can adapt to new types of complaint. - Wouldn't I be better off with a solicitor?
Probably not. Financially, a solicitor is likely to charge considerably more than we do. The use of a solicitor can also suggest you are simply using your financial muscle to bully the complainant into submission. We believe it is better to demonstrate that you are seeking a resolution that is fair and reasonable by using a specialist investigation provider. Nevertheless, there are circumstances in which it is likely to prove necessary to involve a solicitor. Where necessary, we can arrange for a solicitor to take on your case and provide the investigative support required. - I am a member of an independent adjudication scheme. Why shouldn't I get it to investigate?
Most ombudsman and other independent adjudication schemes expect the firm to make a reasonable attempt to resolve the complaint before getting involved. Failing to do so is frowned upon. With Dispusolve's help, you can discharge that obligation - possibly avoiding any case fee that might otherwise be incurred - I am not a member of any adjudication scheme. How can you help me?
Whether you have no appropriate scheme available or have simply chosen not to join, we can still investigate your complaint and help you to ensure your customers are treated fairly but, where necessary, firmly.
